Delivery & Packaging
As you will be aware, Royal Mail significantly increased their postage costs in April 2013 and sold off Parcel Force. To try and remain as competitive as possible and continue to provide an excellent value for money service to our customers, we are offering a most cost effective courier alternative. At present we deliver via My Hermes courier service or Royal Mail, with a standard delivery time of up to 5 working days following receipt of order – to Mainland UK destinations. Standard Delivery charges for orders under £35 are as follows:-
Standard Delivery (up to 5 days) – £3.95
Express Delivery (up to 3 days) – £5.95
Next day delivery (order before 1pm GMT) – £7.95
Free Shipping is offered on items over £35.
Please note that upgrading the delivery service to Express next day delivery is available at an additional cost. This will be an option at check-out.
The above delivery information is for guide purposes only and is not a full guarantee. During extremely busy periods it may take up to 10 days to receive an order. In this case we would contact you to advise.
All items will be packaged in protective wrapping (bubble wrap or similar) and put into a strong cardboard box. Wherever possible it is our policy to use recycled packaging to remain environmentally friendly.
Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Isle of White, and Isles of Scotland may attract an additional fee, as charged by the courier. We will only pass on real postage costs to our Customers, so please contact us to confirm. The nominated courier will attempt to deliver on all occasions and may leave at a secure location, with a neighbour or local post office depot. Heavensent Baby Gifts cannot be held responsible for delays due to causes beyond our control, e.g. acts of God or be held responsible for delays due to the buyer providing an incorrect delivery address. (Please check all delivery addresses carefully when placing your order). During the checkout process, you will be asked to confirm the billing address and the delivery address. The billing address must be the address the payment card is registered to. Enter the delivery address as the address you would like to send the order to. If you are sending your parcel to someone else, please ensure the address is correct and includes a postcode. If you would like a greeting included on the card, please e-mail details to us at the address below.
Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods on the day we specify, we cannot guarantee delivery on that day or accept liability for deliveries made outside this timescale. If you do not receive products within 7 days of the date on which you ordered them, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org of the problem within 10 days of the date on which you ordered the products. In the event that we reproduce an item for you and subsequently the original is returned to Heavensent Baby Gifts as undelivered, we reserve the right to charge an administrative fee up to 100% of the sales price of the reproduced product.
We reserve the right to wait up to 10 working days from the date of dispatch before replacing an undelivered item.
We reserve the right to cancel your order at any time and issue a full refund.
Refunds & Returns
The Team at Heavensent Baby Gifts is committed to providing 100% customer satisfaction. If you are in any way unhappy with your purchase, please contact us by phone or email and we will do everything in our power to rectify a problem.
In the unlikely event that you are not happy we do offer a full refund no hassle returns policy (excluding return postage & packaging). Please note, you have 7 days to make returns and they must be sent back in the original condition and packaging. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept any returns that have been opened. Also, if an item is bespoke, i.e. personalised on your request, we obviously cannot accept returns unless an error has been made by Heavensent Baby Gifts.

If you wish to make a return, contact us prior and also obtain proof of postage. We will be unable to issue refunds if the product is lost and there is no proof it was sent back to us.
This does not affect your Statutory Rights under English Law
